June 14: Daily briefing on novel coronavirus cases in China

On June 13, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 95 new cases of confirmed infections (35 imported cases, 12 in Shaanxi province, 8 in Guangdong province, 7 in Fujian province, 3 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Hunan province and 1 in Chongqing municipality, including 5 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Hunan province and 1 in Guangdong province; 60 indigenous cases, 42 in Beijing municipality, 15 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region and 3 in Shanghai municipality, including 2 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases in Inner Mongolia autonomous region), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections. 

On June 13, 62 patients were released from hospital after being cured (26 imported cases; 36 indigenous cases, 23 in Shanghai municipality, 6 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Sichuan province, 2 in Yunnan province, 1 in Zhejiang province and 1 in Henan province). 7,174 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases decreased by 5.

As of 24:00 on June 13, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 18,930 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 18,725 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 205 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on June 13, the National Health Commission had received reports of 224,977 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 218,832 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 919 confirmed cases (including 14 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 4,180,634 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 115,758 were still under medical observation.

On June 13, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 135 new asymptomatic cases (68 imported cases; 67 indigenous cases, 32 in Beijing municipality, 14 in Shanghai municipality, 9 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 5 in Liaoning province, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Zhejiang province). 

On June 13, 362 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (86 imported cases; 276 indigenous cases, 224 in Shanghai municipality, 15 in Liaoning province, 12 in Sichuan province, 8 in Zhejiang province, 7 in Henan province, 3 in Hebei province, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Jilin province, 1 in Jiangxi province, 1 in Shandong province and 1 in Yunnan province). 7 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 5 imported cases). As of 24:00 on June 13, 2,162 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 444 imported cases). 

As of 24:00 on June 13, 3,271,098 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 333,652 in Hong Kong (9,390 had died and 62,896 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 83 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 2,937,363 in Taiwan (4,280 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
