Lin Ji Attends Brazilian National Day Reception

On Sept. 7, Deputy Secretary General of the People’s Government of Guangdong Lin Ji was invited to attend the celebration reception marking the 196th anniversary of Brazilian independence hosted by the Brazilian Consulate General in Guangzhou.

On behalf of the Guangdong Provincial Government, Lin Ji extended festive greetings to all Brazilian friends who are working, studying and living in Guangdong. He said that in recent years, Guangdong has launched pragmatic cooperation with Brazil and achieved good results in economic and trade exchanges, friendly communication, high-level reciprocal visits and national image promotion. Guangdong is willing to work with Brazil to seize opportunities for cooperation, explore new fields for future cooperation, build platforms for cooperation and create a better tomorrow.

Lesa, Consul General of Brazil in Guangzhou, said that China is Brazil's major export country and that Guangdong plays an important role in trade between the two countries. He hoped the cooperation could be strengthened in business, trade, investment and culture with the support of Guangdong Province.
