To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Young Artist Music Week was launched on July 8 in Guangzhou. A series of activities including concerts and music salons will be held during music week.

The music week will be held both online and offline simultaneously. Residents can enjoy concerts and music salons at theaters, and watch metaverse concerts and 5G online concerts through live streaming broadcast platforms as well.

At the same time, a music competition on piano, folk music, orchestral music and vocal music will be held to select outstanding musical talent in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). These teenagers will perform together with famous musicians during the music week, in a bid to show the charm of the GBA's music. You can follow music week's official WeChat account "GMH青少年音乐周 (pinyin: GMH qing shao nian yin yue zhou)" to get the latest information.

The music week specially invited the design team of "Bing Dwen Dwen" from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, combining the musical elements of the GBA. In addition, through advanced technologies including 5G, cloud interaction, blockchain and the like, the works of famous musicians will be made into digital art collections.

"I believe the music week is a good stage for young people to show their talents", said Zhou Youge, a famous young singer from Guangzhou and the promotion ambassador of the music week, "and as a local singer, I will also try to produce more excellent music to further spread GBA's culture."
