Travelers crossing Zhuhai-Macao ports can only take one round trip per day from August 9

From August 9, travelers crossing Zhuhai-Macao ports can only take one round trip a day. 

The following groups are exempted from the policy and will be registered in name lists for customs management: cross-boundary truck drivers, cross-boundary students and their parents (limited to one), officials with urgent tasks, medical personnel of patients in serious or critical condition, and staff of funeral parlors. 

If travelers apart from the above-mentioned groups need to commute between Guangdong and Macao more than once a day, they should apply for extra journeys and cross the boundary through the Hengqin Port.

The above interim measures will be implemented between August 9 and September 8, 2022. They will be adjusted according to the epidemic situation. All units and individuals must abide by the above COVID prevention policies. Anyone who violates the regulations causing the spread of the pandemic will be held legally responsible according to relevant laws. 

Zhuhai requires self-paid COVID-19 nucleic acid tests for inbound travelers from Macao

From 18:00 on August 7, 2022, all inbound travelers from Macao should take one self-paid COVID-19 nucleic acid test at designated nucleic acid test sites in ports before leaving. 

According to the notice, inbound travelers can not take their first test after entering Zhuhai at nucleic acid test sites for Zhuhai residents. 

The policies will be adjusted according to the epidemic situation. All must abide by the above COVID prevention policies, and anyone who violates the regulations causing the spread of the virus will be held legally responsible by relevant laws.
