Zhang Aijun Attends Russian National Day Reception

GUANGZHOU, June 8, 2018， Zhang Aijun, Deputy Secretary General of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, attended on invitation the Russian National Day Reception by the Consulate General of Russia in Guangzhou.

Zhang expressed greetings and best wishes to the people who are working, studying and living in Guangdong Province. He went on to say that the comprehensive strategic partnership relation between Guangdong and Russia is at the best of times, and cooperation between the two countries are fruitful and further expanded. Under the guidance of the significant consensus reached by heads of the two countries, the Belt and Road Initiative and cooperative economic alliances between Asia and Europe, it is believed that Guangdong-Russia friendship will be more fruitful.

Viktor Pashkov, Consul General of Russia in Guangzhou, said Russia takes China as a strategic partner and he expressed appreciations for the Guangdong Provincial Government's support to the Russia Consulate General, and he hoped bilateral cooperation will keep going in a positive way, so as to promote Russia-China relations to a higher level.
