On February 21st, Mr. Ye Zhenqin, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Guangdong Committee met with the People’s Democratic Party Delegation of Tajikistan in Guangzhou.
Ye extended his warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the latest economic and social development of Guangdong. He stressed that the wide range of consensuses reached by leaders of both countries during their mutual visits pointed a clear path to the development of the bilateral relations. Recently, with the official promulgation of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), Guangdong is investing full efforts in taking forward the development of the GBA, establishing a world-class city cluster, and further promoting economic growth. He urged both sides to learn from each other and further expand communications in education, culture and other areas.
Madame Ranokhon Bobojoniyon, head of the delegation and Deputy Chairwoman of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Guangdong in the fields of investment, education, people to people exchanges, rural revitalization and infrastructure construction.
