The Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Government of the HKSAR held the exhibition series in four cities in the Greater Bay Area– Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan, and Dongguan.

The exhibition was co-organized by the Art Promotion Office and the Hong Kong Designers Association, to showcase the works of 12 Hong Kong artists and designers, as well as a series of virtual art tours created by a Shenzhen media artist, including participating artists Jane Lee, Angel Hui, Danny Lee, Lam Yau Sum, Chui Pui Chee and Margaret Chu; designers Eddy Hui, Michael Leung, Chris Cheung, Hong Ko, Benny Luk and Kin So; and media artist Eric Zhu.

Now, the exhibition has arrived in Dongguan, where an exhibition on the theme "Déjà vu, perhaps?" (means“Already seen, perhaps?” in English) is being held at Dongguan Reading Mi Bookshop.

With the moon and the waves as a metaphor for people coming together and moving apart, Margaret Chu uses a poetic, artistic medium and commonplace materials to express her thoughts and feelings. So Kwok Kin uses retro architectural elements and contemporary artistic approaches to give expression to his imagination. In this exhibition, be it a familiar natural landscape or the surreal cityscape, they invariably ring a bell in our memory. It's déjà vu, a feeling that you have seen or heard something before, perhaps? Due to the pandemic, the exhibition is postponed to 26/2–31/3/2022.

In addition, a series of online exhibitions will be held till 2023. Click to get it now: https://www.lcsd.gov.hk/CE/Museum/APO/en_US/web/apo/art_creativity_online_exhibitions.html

The series aims to bring artists and designers together as creative partners so that through communication, creative minds should be inspired and new ideas be generated.
