The top 100 list of industrial districts and counties for 2024 has recently been announced. Shenzhen's Nanshan District won first place on the list.

To form a complete modern industrial system, Nanshan has focused on two key areas, including advanced manufacturing and modern services since the beginning of this year.

In terms of advanced manufacturing, Nanshan has prioritized the high-quality development of its advantageous industries such as electronic information manufacturing, low-altitude economy, and biomedicine. The annual added value of its electronic information manufacturing industry, represented by giants like ZTE, DJI, OPPO, and Transsion, reached 105.37 billion yuan. There are over 500 enterprises related to the low-altitude economy in the district, with an output value exceeding 55 billion yuan. The booming biomedicine industry serves as an output value of over 65 billion yuan in 2023, accounting for about 43% of the city's total.

The added value of the service industry in Nanshan exceeds 600 billion yuan. Nanshan has cultivated a cluster in software and information services with an industrial value of 100 billion yuan, as well as several hundred million-level clusters in networks and communications, semiconductors and integrated circuits, and intelligent terminals.
