Overview:

Named after its capital city, Osh covers an area of nearly 30,000 square kilometers with a population of 1.35 million. It is located in southern Kyrgyzstan between the Fergana Valley and the Pamir Plateau. The capital, Osh city, is a historic Silk Road settlement with a 3,000-year-old history.

Relations with Guangdong:

Since establishing friendly relations with Osh state, Guangdong has maintained close exchanges and cooperation with the region in fields such as trade and culture. After the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Guangdong donated a batch of medical supplies to Osh state.
