Attending the 18th China International Battery Fair 2026 which opened on May 13 in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, Hoosun — a national-level specialized enterprise, as well as a "little giant" — displayed its core achievements, such as lithium battery positive and negative electrode material production line solutions, solid-liquid hybrid batteries, the i-Neuron intelligent control system, and dry electrode equipment.

Hoosun Chairman Li Yuanlin said that with the start of China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), the development of a new energy system is accelerating, and new quality productive forces have become the core engine driving the high-quality development of industries.

During the exhibition, Hoosun's subsidiary Guizhou Chaoneng Times released the "Skyward" series of high-energy solid-liquid hybrid batteries, targeting industrial drones, embodied intelligent robots, high-performance electric motorcycles and electric ships.

Li noted that as a global platform enterprise, Hoosun has bolstered its internationalization strategy, promoting its synergy of technology, standards, and solutions to go global.

"We have built an intelligent factory with an annual output of 100,000 metric tons for our Malaysian clients, achieving full process automation and digital upgrading, and accumulating project delivery experience overseas," Li said.

Industry experts noted that as the global competition in new energy enters a stage of full-chain systematic competition, Chinese enterprises represented by Hoosun — with their integrated capabilities of "basic research and development + core equipment + scenario definition" — will play a more important role in the global energy transformation.

Li noted that through its engagement in advanced materials and intelligent manufacturing, Hoosun has relied on its independently developed micro-nano dispersed grinding core technology and the i-Neuron intelligent control architecture, forging an integrated capability of "core equipment + intelligent production lines + system solutions".

"We have broken multiple international technological barriers and achieved large-scale output from equipment manufacturing to intelligent factories," Li said.

Centered on the theme "Connecting the Globe, Empowering Green Energy", the Shenzhen exhibition has attracted nearly 3,200 industry chain enterprises from around the world to display innovative achievements across the entire chain, including new batteries, energy storage systems, intelligent equipment and key materials.

Li disclosed that Hoosun's key breakthroughs have been applied in the 10,000-ton scale "lights-out factory" and overseas Industry 4.0 benchmark projects, largely slashing clients' comprehensive investment and operational energy consumption.

Hoosun stressed that its intelligent production line for lithium-ion cathode materials fully covers both wet and dry process sections. Meanwhile, it has formed a complete equipment system in the field of dry electrode, and provided key equipment support for solid-state battery and next-generation battery technology.

Li emphasized that by adhering to emerging industries, Hoosun has also connected with national key tracks such as low altitude economy, embodied intelligence, and new energy storage.
