The yards replaced traditional production methods with standardized, assembly-line operations underpinned by automated steam curing, IoT monitoring, and real-time beam transport tracking. The approach reduced production time and tightened precision across key procedures, said Sun Keqiang, director of the project management office.

"Intelligent beam yards have greatly ensured the production progress and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent beam slab erection and bridge deck system construction," Sun said. Both yards have now completed all production tasks.
