Wang Weizhong, governor of Guangdong province, met with a delegation led by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, in Guangzhou on Jul 24.

Wang welcomed Kuleba's visit to Guangdong and provided an overview of the province's economic and social development. He noted that, under the framework of the China-Ukraine strategic partnership, Guangdong has maintained long-standing friendly relations and engaged in practical cooperation with Ukraine.

Moving forward, Guangdong is ready to work with Ukraine to fully implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, continuously advancing mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as trade, agriculture and sister-city partnerships, Wang said.

Kuleba said that Ukraine highly values its friendly relationship with Guangdong and hopes to further promote practical cooperation in various fields, including trade and cultural exchanges, to achieve even greater outcomes.
