The Macao New Neighbourhood (MNN) project, is an integrated community encompassing residential, educational, health, and social services. Project leader Chen Runqi shared that key facilities, such as the Elderly Service Center and Family and Community Service Center, are now operational. Additionally, over 70% of commercial spaces are set to open by September.

In the healthcare sector, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University Hengqin Hospital reported over 91,000 patient visits in the first half of this year, with more than 6,000 from Macao. Executive Director Qi Defeng highlighted efforts to establish a two-way referral system and enhance the "Hong Kong and Macao Medicine and Equipment Connect" policy.
