Zhang Xin, vice-governor of Guangdong province, attended the "20th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of Friendly Relations Between Guangdong and Bavaria, and Future Smart Mobility Cooperation Exchange" in Guangzhou on October 24.
Zhang noted that both Guangdong and Bavaria are among the most economically vibrant and open regions in their respective countries. Since forming friendly relations in 2004, the two regions have achieved significant results through collaboration in various fields.
Guangdong remains committed to optimizing its business environment as a key driver of high-quality economic development and will continue to deepen pragmatic cooperation with Bavaria in areas such as trade and investment, technological innovation, and green and low-carbon development, thus raising their partnership to new heights, Zhang said, adding that this will contribute to building a forward-looking, all-encompassing strategic partnership between China and Germany.
Hubert Aiwanger, deputy premier of Bavaria and the state's minister for economic affairs, regional development and energy, expressed his appreciation for the friendly cooperation and healthy competition between Bavarian companies and their Chinese partners. He expressed a desire to strengthen collaboration with Guangdong companies in the field of smart mobility, working together to create a bright future.
