Guangdong is preparing to initiate a series of significant projects to advance high-quality development. The inaugural voyage of the first deep-ocean drilling vessel, "Dream", is scheduled to commence shortly. Ehang Intelligence is expected to be awarded the world's first production license for a driverless passenger-carrying aircraft. Furthermore, Mingyang Wind Power will complete the construction of the world's largest floating wind power platform. The first domestically developed HarmonyOS operating system will be officially launched, and the "Zhiji", recognized as the world's first AI regional weather forecasting model, will be implemented.
Furthermore, monopolies in sectors such as high-tech surgical robots, radio frequency chips, and QLED prototypes will be broken. Guangdong will promote high-quality development of the manufacturing industry and, for the first time, conduct comprehensive assessments of manufacturing industry development in various cities and 15 provincial work units, driving the convergence of resources towards the industrial sector.
Guangdong is also leading in digital transformation, shifting from single-enterprise breakthroughs to the holistic transformation of industrial and supply chains, with the aim of nationwide promotion. In this critical period of transforming into a stronger manufacturing industry, Guangdong relies on technological and industrial innovation to foster new productive forces.
