Zhang Shaokang, vice-governor of Guangdong province, met with Norwegian Ambassador to China Vebjørn Dysvik and his delegation in Guangzhou on Feb 21. 

The meeting highlighted the growing pragmatic cooperation between Guangdong and Norway in economic and trade investment, green development, and marine fisheries.

Zhang emphasized the progress made in these fields and expressed Guangdong's commitment to implementing the consensus reached by the leaders of both countries.

He invited Norwegian enterprises to increase investment in Guangdong, participate in the development of key areas like Hengqin, Qianhai, and Nansha, and share in the development opportunities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Guangdong will continue to enhance its investment and entrepreneurial environment to support international businesses.

Dysvik expressed satisfaction with the visit and the advancements made in Guangdong. He said he hopes to expand cooperation in green transformation and the marine economy, aiming to achieve mutual benefits with Guangdong.
