The 137th edition of the China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, commenced on April 15, marking a historic milestone with over 30,000 export exhibitors – the most in the event's long history.

By 5 pm on the opening day, a record-breaking 64,530 overseas buyers had already attended in person, surpassing previous records for the same period.

Business representatives from the United States highlighted the significant role of China's supply chain on the global stage, noting the country's achievements in new technology fields. They expressed optimism about leveraging Chinese technology to drive positive change.

"The Canton Fair has emerged as a global showcase, attracting buyers from around the world. It's like a global runway, displaying the latest technologies from high-quality companies to the entire world," said a sales representative from OFC International, the global brand licensor of Caterpillar.
