Zhang Guozhi, deputy governor of Guangdong province, met with Oleg Kozhemyako, Russia's governor of the Maritime Territory Administration in Guangzhou on May 15.

Zhang emphasized the strong complementarity between Guangdong and the Maritime Territory Administration regarding resources, industrial investment, and trade.

She hopes to establish platforms for exchange and cooperation in various fields such as economy, trade, investment, culture, tourism, education, and technology to deepen mutual understanding and achieve practical results.

Zhang welcomed global partners, including Russia, to invest and start businesses in Guangdong, promising facilitation services and opportunities for development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, focusing on mutual benefits and shared successes.

Kozhemyako hoped the visit to Guangdong would facilitate deeper cooperation with the province in high technology, economy, trade, logistics, agriculture, culture, and infrastructure. He invited Guangdong companies to explore investment opportunities in the Maritime Territory Administration.
