Guangdong, Pakistan pledge enhanced cooperation in manufacturing, AI, culture

Ma Wenfeng, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, met with Sardar Muhammad, the newly appointed Consul General of Pakistan in Guangzhou, on Feb 2.

Ma extended his congratulations to Muhammad on his new role. He highlighted the deep-rooted friendship between China and Pakistan, noting the solid progress toward building a China-Pakistan community with a shared future under the strategic guidance of both nations' leaders.

Ma emphasized Guangdong's active participation in major initiatives such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, utilizing its economic openness and extensive international exchanges to steadily advance cooperation across various fields.

Muhammad expressed his commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Guangdong in traditional manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and people-to-people exchanges. The Consul General also looked forward to launching more fruitful and high-visibility exchange programs with Guangdong to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
