Ma Wenfeng, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong province, met with Ebolo Emmanuel, consul general of the Republic of the Congo in Guangzhou and head of the Guangzhou Consular Corps and his delegation on March 2.
Ma briefed the consular delegation on Guangdong's economic development in 2025, reviewed the work of the Guangzhou Consular Corps and expressed gratitude for its contributions to promoting exchanges and cooperation between their home countries and Guangdong.
He said that Guangdong is poised to advance the coordinated development of its manufacturing and service industries. The province is ready to work with the Guangzhou Consular Corps to achieve greater outcomes in fostering friendly exchanges and practical cooperation across various fields.
Emmanuel extended his congratulations to Ma on his recent assumption of office. He said that the Guangzhou Consular Corps is committed to actively participating in various events scheduled to take place in Guangdong in 2026, with the aim of further strengthening friendship and boosting cooperation.
Qian Hongjie, deputy director of the Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office, also attended the meeting.
