Li Xin, vice chairperson of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended and addressed the Russia Day reception hosted by the Consulate General of Russia in Guangzhou on June 11.

Li said that Guangdong and Russia boast solid cooperation foundations, fresh growth drivers and broad prospects. This year marks the start of China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) and the much-anticipated China Year of APEC.

Guangdong stands ready to deepen cooperation with Russia in industrial collaboration, sci-tech innovation, green energy, trade, and people-to-people exchanges,  building on their high complementarity in industry, technology, energy, markets, and logistics.

The two sides will deepen all-round win-win cooperation and contribute to the grand cause of China-Russia friendship.
