He Rusheng, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangdong People's Government, met with a visiting Nigerian media delegation in Guangzhou on June 26.

Based on the friendly framework between the two countries, Guangdong has been steadily expanding practical cooperation with Nigeria across trade, economy and cultural exchanges.

He briefed the delegation on Guangdong's latest socioeconomic advances, landmark achievements of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the 15th Five-Year Plan (2021-25).

He also invited the members of delegation to experience Guangdong's development and Lingnan culture, and present a vibrant, true image of Guangdong to people in Nigeria and worldwide.
