Ma Wenfeng, director of Guangdong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, met with Milo Musa Abbas, the new Consul General of Nigeria in Guangzhou, on July 2.
He said China and Nigeria share a close friendship. China's zero-tariff policy for 53 African diplomatic partners, in effect since May, is expected to boost bilateral trade. As China's top economic and foreign trade hub, Guangdong boasts huge cooperation potential with Nigeria.

Abbas thanked the office for its consistent support. She pledged to facilitate bilateral exchanges and make it easier for Guangdong enterprises investing in Nigeria to obtain visas.
