Ma Wenfeng, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, met with Simon Wandel-Petersen (Wen Bingchen), the newly‑appointed consul general and his delegation on Sept 1.

Ma Wenfeng said that under the joint guidance of the leaders of China and Denmark, China-Denmark relations have maintained sound and steady development. Guangdong is ready to deepen pragmatic cooperation with Denmark in green low-carbon development, technological innovation and shipping logistics, as Denmark's world-leading expertise in green energy, environmental protection and innovative design is highly aligned with Guangdong's high-quality development goals.

Wen Bingchen expressed appreciation for the long-standing and friendly cooperation between the Guangdong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and the Danish consulate. He added that the consulate is set to continue to serve as a bridge, further strengthening practical cooperation between the two sides.
