Ma Wenfeng, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, held a meeting with Laurent LEGODEC (Luo Hongling), consul general of France in Guangzhou, and his delegation on Sept 1, with both sides committed to further advancing pragmatic cooperation across multiple fields.

Ma said that Guangdong is pressing ahead with the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and upholding high-level opening-up. The provincial foreign affairs office stands ready to work with the French consulate to elevate cooperation in economic and trade investment, aerospace, digital economy, green development and cultural tourism to new heights, delivering greater benefits to both peoples.

Legodec expressed gratitude for the office's long-term support and assistance. He said the consulate is set to continue to serve as a bridge to facilitate and expand mutually beneficial exchanges between the two sides.
