Qian Hongjie, deputy director-general of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, recently met with Abdullah Bin Abiyah, the outgoing Saudi consul general in Guangzhou.

Qian expressed her gratitude for Abiyah's contributions during his tenure.

She praised Abiyah for leading the consulate in implementing key agreements reached by the leaders of China and Saudi Arabia. His efforts included maintaining close communication with provincial departments and facilitating important visits and pragmatic cooperation between Guangdong and Saudi Arabia.

Abiyah thanked the Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office for their support and facilitation during his time in Guangdong.

He expressed his commitment to continue working towards deeper exchanges and cooperation between Guangdong and Saudi Arabia in various fields.
