Qian Hongjie, deputy director-general of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, met with G. Suvdsuren, counselor and consul general of the Mongolian Embassy in China on December 4.
Qian emphasized the longstanding friendship between China and Mongolia, two neighboring countries with shared borders and cultural ties. Mongolia was among the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with China, and this year marks the 75th anniversary of these ties. Qian highlighted the frequent high-level exchanges and robust local interactions between the two sides. She also introduced the Greater Bay Area as a region known for its favorable business environment and high quality of life, welcoming more Mongolian citizens to visit Guangdong for tourism and investment opportunities.
Suvdsuren noted the growing exchanges and expanding cooperation between Mongolia and China, with a significant number of Mongolian citizens traveling to Guangdong for trade and medical services. She expressed a desire to maintain close communication and collaboration with relevant departments in Guangdong to better serve Mongolian citizens in China and further strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation.
